 Cleveland, Ohio -- 2017 surely started off with a bang and the year seems to show no signs of slowing down. The BPACF is adding to the bang with this year’s Black Professional of the Year award to be bestowed upon one of NE Ohio’s most brilliant and respected business man, Mr. Erskine “Ernie” Cade.

 

            

Mr. Cade is currently a partner with Strategic Healthcare & Strategic Government Initiatives (SGI Group), a well-known advocacy firm headquartered out of Columbus, Ohio. His experience and history in the business world expands over 30 years as an executive, lobbyist and mentor. He has been acknowledged in corporate and political publications, such as Black Enterprise Magazine and Who’s Who in Black Cleveland; while maintaining his influence in a range of private and public sectors. The 2017 Black Professional of the Year (BPOY) gala is both a scholarship and awards banquet held yearly to honor both our youth and professionals in the community who have excelled in education and business.   The 2017 Gala is November 4th from 6pm to 10pm. That’s 36 years of developing pride in our culture, whilst empowering and educating within the African-American community, which has ultimately made an excellent impact in the NE Ohio community as a whole.
